Stromung Single Axle Back Muffler

Ive got this muffler on my 2.2 legacy with UEL headers and non-resonated 2.25 midpipe, and it sounds really mean and has an unmistakable rumble and throaty tone. Its very well built, and is not obnoxious in looks or sound, but it is loud, though not open headers loud. Do not hesitate to buy this muffler!!

Quite Good

I've had this axle back installed on my car for the past week. It's on my 95 legacy wagon, NA 2.2L with UEL headers and a Stromung midpipe, making this setup a complete Stromung cat back. If you want any of the classic Subaru rumble to come through you have to have a good axle back, and this one definitely makes me happy. As the other reviewer said, it's loud but not open headers loud, or straight pipe loud. It brings out the rumble without making it annoying. The quality is great, bolted on without a hitch and also comes with a new 2.25" gasket and bolts. The only 2 things I have a gripe about are that it does have a slight drone on the highway. This might be because I have a wagon and it's reverberating in the cabin really well. Also, the exhaust tip seems a bit short by a couple inches, like made for a sedan only, and there is no wagon or sedan option. Those are just things to keep in mind. If you're looking for that deep Subaru rumble on your car, this axle back will not disappoint!
