Stage 1 Clutch Kit
Heavy duty version of the stock O. E. clutch. The Pressure Plate has an increase clamp load for extended life. The disc is dual dampened for smooth engagement and increased transmission life. Premium friction material ensures rapid heat dissipation increasing the life of the clutch.

Stage 2 Clutch Kit

Stage 2 Daily: South Bend Stage two clutch is designed with an increased clamp load with little or no increased pedal pressure for vehicles with light HP modifications. The stage two kit introduces an organic disc material with a high metal content that increases the co-efficient of friction two times over a stock lining. The strong organic material features a 12,000 RPM burst point for a higher durability rating. Recommended to be used on a daily driven vehicle that sees mostly street driving and a handful of light track days.
 
Stage 2 Endurance: The stage two Endurance clutch system features a precision balanced pressure place for a vibration free feel at high RPM's. The pressure plate fulcrum has been altered for a positive disengagement and quicker shift response. South Bend's Dual Dampened disc design is made hybrid with a full face Feramic (Sintered Iron) on the flywheel side and high metal organic lining on the pressure plate side which provides accurate control when acceleration through corners. The Stage Two Endurance clutch is recommended for street driving with an emphasis on Rally and Endurance racing and should be paired with a Single Mass flywheel for its full potential.
 
Stage 2 Drag: The South Bend stage two Drag clutch features a Heavy Duty Pressure Plate modified for a puck style disc with no cushion between the linings so the overall travel of the clutch pedal is short and quick. The designed puck disc reduces rotational mass and also the total drive surface area while increasing pounds per square inch on the surface of the friction material. The combination of these accelerates the transfer of torque from the engine to the wheels and minimizes overall inertia. South Bend Clutch used Graphite impregnated ceramic friction materials that exceeded all other materials for durability, reduced chatter, overall heat transfer and torque capacity. Recommended for drag racing, drifting and limited street use. This kit requires a Single Mass SFI approved Flywheel to be included with each kit when the original design is Dual Mass.

Stage 3 Clutch Kit

Stage 3 Daily: South Bend stage three Daily clutch package is designed for high horsepower vehicles desiring performance similar to OE Clutch Kits. The pressure plate is Race Engineered and SFI approved with significant load increase over the stage one and two pressure plates (+600-800 lbs.). The Stage three clutch has an increased pedal feel of 20%-25%. South Bend Clutch discs are assembled in factory with heat-treated wear resistant hubs, drive plates and springs for high load transfer and dependable and durable operation. The sprung disc centers in conjunction with the marcel fin between the linings create a dual dampening effect that simulates an OEM start performance. A Performance Organic friction material with a high metal content increases torque and RPM capability and maintains low operating temperatures which reduces wear and prolongs clutch life. Recommended for daily driving, spirited street and occasional track and for use with a single mass flywheel when original design is a Dual Mass Flywheel.
